Dana White has been the president of the UFC, the biggest MMA organization in the world, for decades. The UFC is doing quite well financially, as its valuation is increasing daily. White also started the Powerslap organization, which was quite a sensation on all social media handles. White, in an interview with Flagrant, said,
There are eight billion people in the world and lots of other people like it. It’s complete game changer with streaming. In sixteen months its become a global fuc*ing business.
White clarified that Powerslap became a $750 million company mainly due to decent viewership of its PPV events and because it started streaming live events on various platforms. Powerslap already has around four million subscribers. Powerslap has gained even more popularity than famous pop star Taylor Swift, mainly due to his entertainment value.
Dana White seems to know how to create combat sports companies worth billions in a matter of years. The man went on to build two billion-dollar companies and became one of the most successful businessmen in the world. It will be interesting to see if Powerslap will become as big as the UFC in the future. Dana White claimed that the power slap competition is more significant than many of the major soccer clubs.
