The UFC president Dana White has made quite the life for himself. However, he had to go through a rather tough childhood.
Dana White was born back in 1969 to Dana White Jr. and June White. It is reported that both of his parents were fairly young when White was born. At the age of 7, his father left his house and never came back. Apart from this there is not a lot known about his father.
While one would assume that being brought up by a single mother would’ve strengthened the relationship between the two, that wasn’t the case at all. In 2011, Dana White’s mother came out and made some serious allegations against his son.
Moreover, June White even released a book in the same year, titled Dana White, King of MMA: An Unauthorized Biography. In the book, his mother claimed that the UFC president had turned his back on his family after becoming successful.
It is safe to say that Dana White had a troubled childhood. Despite this, his determination and hard work have gotten him to the point where he is today. He has played an instrumental role in the global expansion of the sport of MMA with his promotion, UFC.

When Dana White revealed both of his parents had passed away
Back in September last year, Dana White made a shocking revelation about his parents. During an interview with Piers Morgan, White revealed that both of his parents had recently passed away. He suggested that he had already put his relationship with his parents behind him and tried his best to focus on the relationship with his family and kids. The UFC president said:
“I don’t think I’ve ever talked about this, but my parents both died recently. So, yeah, that’s, yeah, I don’t like talking about it, but yeah, my parents died recently. I’m good with it, I focus a lot on my kids and my relationship with them, and I’ve sort of put my relationship with my parents behind me.”
Furthermore, Dana White was asked to comment on how he felt when both of his parents passed away. Responding to the question, White suggested that he had almost no feelings following the demise of his parents and stated:
“No. Well, I didn’t wish any ill will on either one of my parents but when they passed away I had, I had almost no feelings about it to be honest with you.”
