After their initial meeting, Turki Alalshikh praised Dana White, acknowledging him as one of the most insightful individuals he has encountered.
The UFC’s first event in Saudi Arabia starts a promising partnership. Recent big boxing matches in the Kingdom have refreshed the sport and could lift the UFC to new levels. Alalshikh has done it in other sports by delivering mega-events, and now it will be interesting to see how this event goes after the dent of Khamzat Chimaev pulling out ahead of the fight.
However, Robert Whittaker encountered another dangerous opponent in Ikram Aliskerov, who stepped up for the fight on short notice.
