The highly anticipated UFC 264: Poirier vs McGregor 3 ended with a greusome injury to Conor McGregor, but it completely went off the rails after The Notorious One decided to chirp at his opponent and his wife who was inside the ring.
White shared his thoughts on what went down at UFC 264 and criticised Conor McGregor for bringing Dustin Poirier’s wife into his trash talk before and after Saturday night’s dramatic main event.
McGregor (22-6) suffered a brutal leg break in the final seconds of the first round, with Poirier (28-6, one no contest) winning by doctor stoppage. In an attempt to rile “The Diamond” up before the match and after, McGregor had been insulting his wife, Jolie, who joined her husband in the Octagon after his win.
“I don’t like that, that’s not good,” UFC president White said at the post-event press conference inside T-Mobile Arena. “Leave people’s family and wives and all that stuff out of it. Family has nothing to do with it.”
This isn’t the first time McGregor dragged someone’s spouse into his antics. Two years ago, he played tweet-and-delete with this remark towards Khabib Nurmagomedov’s wife.

McGregor is now on a two-fight skid as he drops to a record of 22-6. White says there will likely be a part four with Poirier because “you can’t have a fight finish that way.”
