Conor McGregor’s mental warfare is on the level of Muhammad Ali’s.
Dana White made it clear that Conor McGregor’s ability to get into his opponent’s mind before the fight in the octagon is comparable to what Muhammad Ali used to do. Ali was known to trash talk a lot before his major fights. The boxing Hall of Famer threw many verbal jabs toward his opponents in the ring and beat them on the fight day. Many believed his opponents were diminished versions of themselves on the fight day due to the trash talk.
‘The Notorious’ employs the same tactics and has often finished his opponents in the first round after a week of talking trash to them and annoying them. After a week of spewing hateful comments toward him, Conor captured the Featherweight title after finishing Jose Aldo in the first round.
