Dan Hooker has revealed a photo of his arm x-ray following his fight against Jalin Turner at UFC 290, and his injury looks pretty serious.
The event was one of the best fans have seen in a while as the card was pretty stacked. Hooker’s bout versus Turner lived up to the hype, ending in a win for the former, but it came at a cost as the New Zealand native suffered a broken arm during the fight.
Asked by Joe Rogan whether he broke his arm at some point in the fight, Hooker declared “It’s just a scratch. We’ll have to see.”
Turns out Rogan’s question was well placed as an x-ray shows the injury constitutes more than just a scratch, with the 33-year-old taking to Twitter to share a pic showing just how gruesome the injury is.
Of course, we aren’t bone surgeons here, but it appears his ulna broke clean off right above his wrist. Check it out below (if you can):

It’s likely going to be a while before we see Hooker in the octagon again, but he must have gotten himself lots of new fans given the fact that he was still able to put on a show and collect a win with a broken arm.
He’s also gotten lots of praise from other UFC fighters.
