Either these two are trying to sell a fight. Or they just really hate each other that much.
It all started when some dude commented on a photo that Conor McGregor posted of him posing by his car, looking pretty huge. The commenter suggested that McGregor was way too big to ever step foot in the UFC octagon again.
McGregor responded by saying, “All I read was ‘look how big he has gotten’… My man! These clowns are fucked when I get back.”
Tony Ferguson saw that and quickly moved in with this response:
“Taking Growth Hormone Will Do That To Someone’s Build. You’re Mentally Weak & Your Leg Is Compromised. Your Fragile, Frail & Breakable. That GH Gon’ Make U Break Kid. Keep Pumpin’ Ya Chest Ya Cheat. Not The 1st Time God Punished You. You Like Picking On People And DJ’s? WTF P***y”

To absolutely no one’s surprise, that comment triggered McGregor, and he didn’t hold back with his response.
In addition to saying he’d kill Ferguson if they ever step in the octagon, Conor also threatened to release a video he claims he had of Ferguson “screaming crying” and ‘smashing his house’ that Tony’s wife sent to McGregor and his wife out of fear.
The tweets have since been deleted…But come on, folks. This is the internet, where nothing goes unseen.
In 2019, Ferguson’s wife, Christina, filed a restraining order against Tony, claiming he was suffering from extreme paranoia and showing uncharacteristic behavior. Tony was said to have tore up the family’s fireplace and he believed he had a tracking chip inserted into his leg during reconstructive surgery. However, she also made it clear that Tony had not physically abused her in any way. Rather, she obtained the restraining order as a precaution and in an effort to get her husband to seek proper help.
It’s assumed that McGregor’s comment were related to this incident. If so, that’s quite the low blow…
Then again, Ferguson probably should have minded his own business in the first place.
