It’s been quite the month for Conor McGregor. First, the former UFC champ was arrested for smashing a fan’s cellphone and walking away with it. Then, weeks later, he announced his retirement from MMA. Shortly after, it was reported that McGregor was under investigation for sexual assault…
And now this.
McGregor’s latest ascent to the top of the headlines came on Tuesday night, when he took to Twitter to throw shots at some of his biggest enemies.
The first person in Conor’s crosshairs was his former sparring partner, Paul Malignaggi, who had slapped McGregor’s friend, Artem Lobov, earlier in the day.
His attack on Paulie came in the form of 17 (yes, 17!) photos of McGregor pummeling Malignaggi during one of their sparring sessions. Here are a few of the photos Conor posted:

And when he was done with Malignaggi, McGregor turned his attention to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
First McGregor called him a rat:
Then he took things about 100 steps further by posting some of Khabib’s wedding day photos and calling his wife a “towel.” The Tweet has since been deleted, but not before TMZ was able to capture a screenshot of it:
The towel comment was a clear shot at both Khabib’s wife and his religion. The couple are devout Muslims, so McGregor’s tweet was obviously insulting to many people. Among those who took offense to it was Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, who released the following statement:
“Talking sh*t, this guy is insulting someone’s wife and making fun of her religion and belief. He doesn’t realize he’s insulting 1.5 billon Muslims. Religion and family is a no no. You’re fucked Connor, let’s see what the media is going to say now. He’s a rapist, and a bitch.”
These types of actions are nothing new for Conor, who now has yet another P.R. nightmare to deal with. But if there’s anyone who knows how to turn some bad publicity into a multi-million-dollar fight contract, it’s McGregor.
Stay tuned.
