Conor McGregor’s appearance at the recent BKPFC press conference had many twists and turns. The Mystic Mac hinted at his potential future in the Bare Knuckle fighting after he was done with his UFC contract. Moreover, he shot fires at those fighters who switched to Donn Davis’ PFL with his cryptic choice of words.
The Notorious suggested that the MMA fighters have only one option after they are done with the UFC. And that was none other than BKFC. He said,
“In my opinion, the only option, I don’t want to see nor do I give a f*** about UFC fighters going to PFL or going to another promotion.”
“You need to break it up, to mix it up, to come and try something new to really break into that next level of, you know, super Stardum of respect, of money, of power. And we have it all here at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. So, I’m excited to see what type of fighters we get in here.”
Interestingly, earlier this year, the BKFC announced McGregor as its new co-owner. So, it is quite viable for Mystic Mac to take the center seat in promoting his new business venture.
Conor McGregor’s UFC contract revelation must have put Dana White in tough spot
Dana White must be scratching his head after McGregor attended the BKFC press conference. The Mystic Mac revelation that he has only two fights left in his UFC contract suggests that he might switch to his own business.
The Notorious brings a lot of energy into the octagon and attracts a lot of viewership. In UFC 229, a bizarre 2.4 million PPV tickets were sold. Henceforth, losing a star fighter like McGregor will certainly affect the UFC and its president, White.
