The two-division UFC champ Conor McGregor recently launched his music record label, the GreenBack Records label. It marked a monumental feat in his entrepreneurial wings as he established Ireland’s first major music label. Now, in merely one day, the Irishman revealed the first rap group signee.
In the latest X post, McGregor announced the signing of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony to his GreenBack Records. He also unveiled that the preview of their first release will be live on DAZN. The Irishman wrote,
“The Notorious Thug Era has begun. I welcome the greatest Rap group of all time to @greenbackrecs Bone Thugs-N-Harmony WATCH THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW OF OUR FIRST RELEASE LIVE TONIGHT ON @daznboxing”
McGregor started GreenBack Records with music industry stalwarts Richard Buck and Julian O’Brien. He highlighted the aim of his new label: to support rising stars and established artists.
A Look at Conor McGregor’s Other Businesses
While the ‘Notorious’ is known for his illustrious time in the UFC octagon, he also has his hands dipped into multiple other businesses. From liquor brands to clothing brands, McGregor has stakes in several successful businesses.
In 2017, McGregor launched a clothing line called August McGregor just months before his bout with Floyd Mayweather Jr. He partnered with tailoring brand David August to manufacture modernized suits for the millennials.

The Irishman then launched Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey in 2018. He named the brand after Dublin 12, a Crumlin neighborhood where he grew up. Moreover, McGregor also owns two pubs: Black Forge In and Marble Arch.
Apart from MMA and these businesses, the ‘Notorious’ also acted alongside American actor Jake Gyllenhaal in a film, Road House. Additionally, on April 27, 2024, McGregor and his company, McGregor Sports and Entertainment, became part owners of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
Conor McGregor certainly has several income sources. With GreenBack Records, he is now also part of the music industry. But the ‘Notorious’ primary skills lie in the MMA cage, and fans would love to see him again.
