Even with a long recovery ahead, Conor McGregor is not ready to let this one go just yet.
The former UFC Champion is still taking shots at Dustin Poirier and his family at every possible moment. And, if he hasn’t already taken things to far, he certainly did with his latest outburst.
It took place on Twitter, where McGregor posted a series of tweets that seemed to threaten the well-being of Poirier and his family. Among them was a photo of Poirier with his daughter, along with the comments, “I’m a dangerous man,” “Gonezo,” “I’m a nasty dude I promise you,” “Your wife is your husband,” and finally, “Hey you guys! I don’t want to associate any negativity with my foundation so I’d like to take this chance to apologize for dustin’s wife trying to message me privately on Instagram.”
The Tweets have since been deleted, but MMA Junkie saved the receipts:

Let’s call a spade a spade here. Conor McGregor now has two losses in a row and three in his last four fights. His star is fading and he’s beginning to realize that the only real chance he has of remaining among the most marketable fighters in the UFC is if he keeps up his world-class trash talking.
But is he taking things too far this time around? Dana White certainly seems to think so.
