McGregor has been out of action for quite some time. His last fight was back in July 2021 against Dustin Poirier in a trilogy. After suffering a nasty leg injury, he had to take time off to recover.
Despite recovering from it last year, Conor McGregor failed to enter the USADA testing pool on time for a fight in 2023. As his return kept getting pushed, fans speculated that he might never return to fight again.
However, that doesn’t seem to be the case, as McGregor is set to return this summer. Moreover, he recently laid out his retirement plans. Thankfully for the fans, he does not have any retirement plans.
During an interview with TNT Sports, McGregor said this about his retirement: “In a box and going down into the ground, that’s when I’ll call it a day.”
