Conor McGregor, the fiery Irishman who took the MMA world by storm, is at it again. Known for his bold predictions and even bolder actions, ‘The Notorious’ has set his sights on a new challenge. The former two-division UFC champion recently made waves with a surprising announcement about his future in combat sports.
It all started in April when McGregor became a part-owner of BKFC. But he’s not content with just being a suit behind the scenes. He wants to get his hands dirty – literally. BKFC president David Feldman spilled the beans on McGregor’s plans. According to Feldman, McGregor isn’t just talking the talk; he’s dead set on walking the walk.
“Unless he’s the best salesman in the world, the talks that we’ve had it’s like ‘I’m fighting here. I go, ‘Why wouldn’t you fight here?’ Because you have equity in the company, and if you fight here, you’ll probably make more money than anywhere else in the world…I think 100 percent he fights here,” Feldman told MMA Fighting.
Now, fans might be thinking, “Isn’t he still under contract with UFC?” Conor McGregor has two fights left on his UFC deal. But the man’s always thinking ahead. He recently announced that he would finish his two-fight contract with the UFC in 2025.
Davis Feldman believes McGregor’s involvement in BKFC is more than just a publicity stunt. He has been showing up at events, cheering on fighters, and even doing post-fight press conferences. It remains to be seen what the future holds for ‘The Notorious,’ but one thing is clear: wherever he fights, millions of fans will follow.
Conor McGregor Ready To Switch As Soon As His Contract Is Over
McGregor’s UFC journey has been a rollercoaster ride of epic proportions. From welfare checks to private jets, he’s seen it all. Lately, however, ‘The Notorious’ has been notably absent from the octagon. A nasty leg break in 2021 put him on the sidelines.

Now, as he eyes his comeback, McGregor’s dropping hints about his future plans. He has confirmed he has two fights left on his UFC contract. But BKFC is what comes after for the Irishman. Back in July, he revealed that he would be joining the roster as a fighter after the completion of his UFC contract.
“But for sure we got three lightweights up here on the dais and you know, I have my eye on all of [them]. I’m not up here just as an owner. Player-manager I’ll title myself on this one” said McGregor via a BKFC 67 press event.
Conor McGregor seemed more pumped about BKFC than his UFC return. He’s praising bare-knuckle fighters left and right. But he has always been a showman. It now remains to be seen what is next for the Irish star.
