Conor McGregor has given a major update about his UFC return. The Irishman has been out of action for quite some time. He was previously seen in action against Dustin Poirier in a trilogy fight.
On the night, he suffered a nasty leg injury, which kept him out of action. However, McGregor recovered fully and was billed to make his return last year. However, he failed to enter the USADA testing pool on time and was later caught up with promotional activities for his recently released movie.
As a result, Conor McGregor’s return kept on getting pushed. However, Dana White recently confirmed his return at the post-fight press conference of UFC 300. The Irishman will return to the octagon on June 29 at UFC 303 against Michael Chandler.
Ahead of the fight, McGregor revealed that he had already been drug tested. Take a look at his recent Instagram post.
“Ten rounds in the 18oz. Drug tested. Hair cut.”

Can Conor McGregor return to winning ways?
Conor McGregor hasn’t had the best in the last couple of years. He has won just one fight in his previous three fights since 2020. As a result, there are a lot of questions surrounding his return and whether he could perform at a high level.
His lack of action over the past few years and his injury will certainly not do him any favors. However, if there is someone who can go on an incredible run against all odds, it’s Conor McGregor. It will be interesting to see how his return plays out.
