The UFC is all set to welcome their biggest superstar back in the octagon next month. Conor McGregor is set to fight Michael Chandler in the cage in the main event of the UFC 303. The Irishman is set to return to the cage three years after he broke his leg in the cage.
McGregor has lost three of his last four fights in the octagon, and one might believe that the Mac is in camp and breaking some major sweat to beat Michael Chandler later next month in the cage. However, the reality looks different.
Conor McGregor Spotted Grooving in Club
Less than a month before his clash against former Bellator champion Michael Chandler, McGregor was spotted in the club with his wife. Many expressed their shock, as they expected the Mac to be in camp to take on and put away the powerful Michael Chandler. Conor has yet to relinquish his partying lifestyle in the Irish subcontinent, as the Mac was once spotted shaking a leg with folks at the club.
It was reported that the UFC 303 has already recorded the highest gate ever at $20 million. The UFC 303 might be the highest-selling card of this calendar year. McGregor has been part of five of the highest-selling PPVs in UFC history, and his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov sold 2.4 million PPVs, the second-highest in combat sports history and the highest in MMA history.
Conor McGregor is known for his precision in the octagon, whereas Michael Chandler is much more explosive in the cage. If Conor is to knock Chandler in one of the earlier rounds, he will shoot up in rankings, and his star power may push the UFC to push him into a title fight in the UFC.
