Conor McGregor is facing some serious allegations this week involving a woman that was on his yacht.
McGregor celebrated his 34th birthday back in July 22nd while in Ibiza, Spain. Also at the party was a unnamed 42-year-old Irish woman who grew up in the same neighborhood as McGregor.
According to a recent report, the former two-division UFC champ is under investigation for alledly attacking that woman to the point where she had to jump off his yacht to escape him.
The woman alleges that McGregor kicked her in the midsection, punched her and then said he was going to drown her. That is when she jumped off the boat and was soon rescued by a Red Cross boat.
“All his [behavior] changed at that moment. It was as if he was possessed. I knew that I had to get off the boat because I thought that he was going to kill me. … We have mutual friends and I have met him numerous times. I can’t believe what he did to me. He is a criminal. I think he would have killed me if I hadn’t got off the yacht.”
She identified McGregor as her attacker to her rescuers, but later reportedly told Gardia Civil agents it wasn’t him and that she just wanted to go home. That led the Gardia to pause the investigation. It has since been re-opened after the victim filed a report against McGregor in Ireland.
