Is the Drake curse back?
Luck wasn’t on his side Saturday night, and it tok a hefty loss as a result.
The hip-hop artist and pop-culture icon placed a $275,000 bet on Jorge Masvidal to defeat Colby Covington in Saturday night’s main event at T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas. That money is now gone with the wind after Covington won a convincing unanimous decision.
Masvidal was a +255 underdog, while Covington was the favorite at -350. At those odds, Drake would’ve earned $701,250 if Masvidal pulled off the upset.

Covington entered UFC 272 coming off a championship loss to Kamaru Usman at UFC 268 while Masvidal last fought at UFC 261and was knocked out by Usman.
