UFC featherweight Brian Ortega has found himself in MMA’s latest love triangle and it’s getting quite nasty for all to see.
Brian Ortega has reacted after UFC middleweight Paulo Costa posted a photo with his former girlfriend Tracy Cortez and he seemed to take a massive shot at people’s reaction to it as well as her and the end of their relationship.
In a recent tweet, UFC featherweight contender Brian Ortega made a bold statement about his former girlfriend Tracy Cortez, asserting that he intentionally “threw her away” and dismissing any notion that he fumbled her away.
He explained it perfectly.
“Everyone out here talking bout I fumbled. Y’all must not know the rules of the game. When you drop the ball on accident, that’s a fumble, but when you throw it away on purpose, that’s called a complete pass. Top G shit!”

Cortez got wind of what he said and fired right back at him with several tweets that could be stated as warnings if he continues.
Tracy Cortez’s relationship with Brian Ortega dates back to 2020 as the both of them were spotted in many social media posts. Cortez was also present in support of his fights, including his UFC 266 bout against Alexander Volkanovski, where she was in his corner.
There were even rumors of an engagement after Cortez could be seen rocking a fat diamond ring. However, things changed this year after fans noticed Ortega and Cortez suddenly deleted all images of each other from their social media accounts.
Cortez also changed her name back to Tracy R. Cortez instead of Tracy R. Ortega.
Now that they are openly going at each other online, it seems there will not be a rekindling of their relationship.
