On Tuesday’s meeting of the Nevada Athletic Commission, the same 5-team member committee that levied a 9-month suspension to Khabib and a $500K fine for his role in the ugly UFC 229 Brawl also had to vote on what to do with Conor McGregor.
The committee decided to give McGregor a 6-month suspension and a $50K fine.
Following his fourth-round submission win over McGregor — Khabib exited the cage and leaped at a McGregor cornerman which resulted in a crazy brawl of random people fighting and jumping into the cage to fight McGregor who was stopped from scaling the cage to go after Khabib.
Neither fighter were present at Tuesday’s meeting.
