In the UFC, big Russian fighters like Islam Makhachev and Magomed Ankalaev dominate their divisions. Right now, Shara Magomedov is rising through the ranks, and after his historic double-spinning elbow win at UFC 307, he’s officially the new threat in the division. However, Bo Nickal isn’t buying it. He calls the fight not tough and says he’s ready to take on the challenge Shara presents.
Bo Nickal on his YouTube video said he’s up for a fight with Shara, despite his opponent’s undefeated record, calling it not a tough fight. Nickal is ready to take on the challenge in Abu Dhabi or Saudi Arabia, though he thinks the UFC isn’t pursuing the matchup right now. Still, he’s confident that if the fight happens someday, he can finish it in 90 seconds, cash in, and fly back with a big payday.
He stated, “It’s like I would like to fight him, but it is not a tough fight, and I would have to go to Abu Dhabi. I would have to go to Saudi, which I would do it, but I think that not a tough fight. Also UFC probably doesn’t want that right now or maybe they would….go over Saudi, make a quick check 90 seconds, call it a day, fly back.”
There’s no doubt the matchup between the two will be exciting and electrifying. Especially considering both are still undefeated and have dominated their opponents with ease. Meanwhile, he will look to extend his winning streak when he faces Paul Craig at UFC 309, set to take place on the same card as Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic.
Donald Trump Coming To See Bo Nickal At UFC 309
Ahead of the elections, when Trump joined Joe Rogan on his podcast, he expressed his admiration for Bo Nickal while discussing sports. Trump asked when Nickal’s next fight would be. Upon learning it is scheduled after the election, he jokes that he’ll either attend or stay home, depending on the outcome.
He stated, “You know Bo Nickal is a great fighter. When is he fighting again? Oooh, that is going to be interesting after the elections. So, I will either go as President, or I will be depressed and won’t bother coming.”
