The UFC Saudi Arabia is set to take place in the octagon later this week, and it will be headlined by Robert Whittaker and Ikram Aliskerov. Whittaker was originally supposed to take on Khamzat Chimaev, but Chimaev had to withdraw from the bout, so Ikram took his place. However, the UFC had other plans before finalizing Ikram as Whittaker’s opponent.
In a recent interview, Middleweight ace and up-and-coming fighter Bo Nickal made a massive revelation.
Bo Nickal on Robert Whittaker and Khamzat Chimaev
Bo Nickal is one of the top Middleweight contenders in the UFC. He is among the few in the Middleweight division who carry some massive wrestling pedigree in the cage. Nickal has finished most of his opponents in the first round of the matchups. He is slowly rising in the Middleweight ranks in the promotion. In an interview given recently, Nickal made a massive revelation. He said,
Unfortunately I got a call while I was in the mountains of Montana and I didn’t get back to cell service for three days.
Nickal made it clear that the main event spot in the UFC Saudi Arabia was offered to him initially, but he couldn’t get back because he was trekking in Montana, where there was no cell service.
If Bo Nickal had been in the city area, we might have gotten Nickal versus Robert Whittaker in the cage. It would have been interesting to look at the massive event between the two wrestling aces. Robert Whittaker clarified that he would take on anyone and everyone in the octagon.
