Conor McGregor is allegedly bracing up for yet another potential million-dollar fight. In a recent update, the Irishman spoke about an alleged fight against Logan Paul in the making. He also mentioned that he was in talks with the Ambanis from India to further discuss the prospect. Initially, things looked quite far-fetched. But a recent report from Ariel Helwani has shed some interesting light on the matter.
As per the UFC insider’s take, the possibility of the fight happening is not at all impossible. He pointed out that both parties are indeed in talks with each other. However, the immediate fruition of the fight might not be possible.
“The only thing that I can add to it is, again, to maintain, as I said yesterday, there’s validity to the fact that phone calls were made. What Jake [Paul] tweeted, based on my understanding, is accurate… Phone calls were made between Team McGregor and Team Logan Paul [but it] feels like a long shot.” Helwani said on ‘The Ariel Helwani Show.’
Meanwhile, Conor McGregor’s return to the UFC is long due. He played his last match against Dustin Poirier back in 2021. Unfortunately, suffering a broken ankle, ‘The Notorious’ has not yet been able to take the UFC octagon by storm like before. And amidst his return rumors, the latest rivalry with Ilia Topuria has looked quite interesting.
Ilia Topuria Calls Conor McGregor A ‘Ra***t’
Topuria initially called out Conor McGregor after defeating Alexander Volkanovski. However, he seems to have lost interest in the matchup. In a recent interaction, the featherweight champion stated that McGregor was a “joker.” However, this was not the only shade that Topuria threw at McGregor.
The rumors of bout with mchicken are false. I don't fight nor am I interested in fighting with a rapist.

Taking to his X account, Topuria wrote, “The rumors of bout with mchicken are false. I don’t fight nor am I interested in fighting with a ra**st.” Thus, with things still looking clouded, it remains to be seen when Conor McGregor actually makes a return to the octagon.
