Alex Pereira on the moment he accepted to fight in UFC 303
Alex Pereira became the two-division champion in his first nine fights with the company. No one has achieved this feat before. The fans of Poatan have a reason to be ecstatic, as Pereira will be taking on Jiri Prochazka in the cage. In an interview uploaded on his YouTube channel, Pereria revealed when he accepted the UFC 303 offer. Pereri said,
All right. Let’s do it. Let’s go. How won’t I be happy with these news.
The two-division king was visibly ecstatic in the octagon on getting to know that his manager had negotiated a deal for him to fight in the marine event of the UFC 303. Pereira will now defend his title for the second time against Jiri Prochazka. The last time the duo clashed in the middle of the ring, Pereira finished Jiri in the second round of the fight via a viscous left hook in the octagon. The former kickboxing world champion has now had a golden opportunity to fight Jiri again, establish himself as one of the best champions, and rise in the pound-for-pound rankings.
Jiri Prochazka must be wary of Pereira’s left hook and try to avoid it at all costs. Prochazka has got an insane ability to take massive amounts of damage in the cage.
