UFC and Dana White have been asked to change a rather ridiculous in-fight rule.
This past weekend at UFC Atlantic City, a controversy erupted during Chris Weidman’s fight against Bruno Silva when Weidman accidentally eye-poked Silva. Interestingly, it did not happen only once. In the end, Weidman ended up winning the bout via technical decision in the third round.
The topic was quick to become a point of discussion online as many people from the MMA community expressed their concerns over the gloves used by UFC and also an in-fight rule.
Speaking about the same, Michael Bisping has now given his thoughts on how UFC has rules for fighters to keep their hands open during fights. According to him, fighters should keep their hands completely closed at all times to avoid eye pokes. While the UFC has rules of how fighters can keep their hands open vertically but not horizontally.

Speaking about the same during an interview with Lex Fridman, UFC President Dana White made his pick and went on to make a bold statement. The UFC president suggested that Jon Jones is the greatest of all time without a question and said, “It’s absolutely positively Jon Jones. He has never been beat in the octagon. The other thing that you have to factor into is longevity.”
That said, it’s safe to say that Dana White does not see any fighter above Jon Jones and this isn’t the first time that he has backed ‘Bones’ to be the G.O.A.T.
