Former UFC champions Luke Rockhold and Tyron Woodley will be a part of the TUF-like show for HFC MMA.
The last season of TUF had Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler as opposing coaches. Considering the popularity of the UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter, HFC MMA has started to create a show like it. Standing for the Hard Fighting Championship, the promotion has revealed its plans for having Woodley and Rockhold for their new show.
Luke Rockhold is a former UFC middleweight champion. He was last seen inside the octagon back in August 2022 against Paulo Costa and walked away from the promotion after suffering his third straight defeat.
On the flip side, Tyron, a former UFC welterweight champion had a rather sour ending with the MMA promotion. After losing his title to Kamaru Usman in 2019, he went on to lose his next three fights and was ultimately cut from the UFC.
That said, it will be interesting to see the two former UFC champions go head-to-head as coaches in the upcoming series of HFC MMA. It is worth noting that further details are yet to be awaited and it is not confirmed if the two will have a fight after the completion of the show.

Did Tyron Woodley make his boxing debut following his exit from the UFC?
Yes, after getting cut from the UFC, Tyron went on to make his pro-boxing debut against Jake Paul in 2021. Their first fight took place in August and was won by Paul via split decision.
Later in the same year, Tyron Woodley and Paul squared off in a rematch. However, things were quite different this time around as ‘The Problem Child’ secured a vicious knockout victory. Moreover, the knockout was even awarded the Knockout of the Year by ESPN.
