UFC President Dana White has been the most prominent figure in the industry-leading organisation for over a decade. Nevertheless, he occasionally uses the internet to read what other fans say about him and his work in mixed martial arts.
UFC CEO Dana White had to fight back tears as he disclosed that he had previously saved the life of a small child. The 54-year-old has played a significant role in developing mixed martial arts (MMA).
Although White has seen a lot since taking over the organization, his most touching experience occurred in 2010. The American saw a post from MMA fighter Ben Pittsley, who had been training in Thailand while browsing the internet.
Where Did Dana White Make A Donation Of $500 Million?
Pittsley told the UFC president about Tuptim Jadnooleum, a trainer at the Tiger Muay Thai club in Phuket, Thailand, and the daughter of “Kru Nai” Rattanachai.
Jadnooleum was diagnosed with a rare liver ailment just two months after her birth, which would ultimately result in her death unless she underwent a costly liver transplant. Regretfully, her family was unable to pay for the transformative surgery.
The American recalled the tale from the In Search of Excellence podcast and stated: “There was this guy that had posted something that he had just come back from Thailand and he was training Muay Thai over there with this legendary coach.”

“And his daughter was dying because she needed some type of heart surgery and she was going to die in the next several days if she didn’t get the money.
“It was going to be $50,000 and the guy was like, ‘Dana White you need f***ing to put this money up right now and donate it to her, you bet this much playing blackjack’.”
White, estimated to be worth $500 million, sobbed and fought back tears as he discussed the donation that preserved her life and earned him a spot on Rattanachai’s gym wall.
