Yankees fans might think of Aaron Boone as a disastrous manager. However, GM Brian Cashman is not on the same page. Cashman feels that Boone is doing an incredible job by improving his presence with the franchise.
He further said that Boone has the ability to connect with players even in a demanding and pressurized market.
“Consistently exhibiting these skills in such a demanding and pressurized market is what makes him one of the game’s finest managers,” Cashman said after Boone was exercised.
Aaron Boone led his team to the World Series, but the outcome was a disaster. Boone will have more pressure on his bask as he heads into the 2025 season. Winning a title will be the only way for him to sustain another year. Boone must also try to sign Juan Soto, as several teams are behind the slugger.
