The New York Yankees are absolutely atrocious in 2021 so far. Not even Gerrit Cole on the mound today could stop them dropping another game under .500.
On Sunday, the team dropped to 5-10 after a loss against the Tampa Bay Rays and the fan base is just completely sick of the losing.
Not helping matters was Rays outfielder Brett Phillips rubbing it in by taking a bow at them as soon as the game was over. He was met with a chorus of boos and curse words as he jogged to celebrate the win.

The Yankees have lost five straight games and eight of their last 10.
The Yankees are currently 25th in MLB with 7.14 hits per game and their 3.79 runs per game is also low at 24th in the league.
