The New York Yankees made a huge signing in 2019 when they inked pitcher Gerrit Cole to a record-breaking deal, but that was merely the tip of the iceberg for the Bronx Bombers.
Jasson Dominguez is a name you likely do not know right now, but you will soon if he pans out to be the best thing. The Yankees certainly think highly of him after they signed the 17-year-old outfielder, who was the No. 1 prospect in the 2019 international free agent class, to a team-record $5.1 million contract in July 2019.
Nicknamed “The Martian” coming out of the Dominican Republic, scouts have compared his raw talent to Mike Trout and his athletic ability to Bo Jackson.

Dominguez is also a switch-hitter capable of hitting bombs from either side of the plate, which should scare the hell out of opposing pitchers.
