Atlanta Braves President Alex Anthopoulos mentioned that Acuna might not be able to play until late June. While Athopoulos never shared any more details, it’s clear that Acuna needs to recover. The Braves will need to fight the first half of the season without one of their best players.
Acuna played a crucial role with the team over the years. In 2023, he smashed 41 home runs and led the team to the playoffs.
