This is just absolutely horrific.
On Tuesday, the Montgomery Biscuits baseball game was cancelled after news came down that the wife, child, and mother-in-law of Blake Bivens were tragically murdered. The person that was arrested for it was Biven’s wife’s brother.
“Pittsylvania County Police Department has arrested Bernard on three counts of first-degree murder.
Police say when they arrived at the home, they found a woman dead in the driveway of the residence. When police entered the home, they found another woman and a child dead.
At approximately 12:15 PM this date Bernard ran from a wooded area and law enforcement were able to get Bernard into custody, police said.”

Bivens is a double-a pitcher within the Tampa Bay Rays organization. Bivens’ Instagram is filled with posts of his young child and wife.
