On Wednesday, the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals had a brief scuffle after Royals pitcher Brad Keller hit White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson in the butt, which was an obvious retaliation for Anderson’s jubilant reaction to a home run he had hit two innings prior.
ESPN’s Jeff Passan is now reporting that Anderson has been suspended, not because he got hit by the ball, but because he used a racial slur towards the opposing pitcher in anger.
