The White Sox waited three days to play their worst baseball. There had been two days of bad weather in Cleveland that called for two postponed games. Chicago wishes their game on Wednesday was also postponed.
The Sox infield made four errors in the first two innings and left-hander Dallas Keuchel allowed eight consecutive hits that included a grand slam. It resulted in an 11-1 loss in the first game of a doubleheader.
White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson had a rough game when his throwing error put a runner on base. That runner would score. Things did not get better the next inning as Anderson had another throwing error which led to another run.
After the errors, Anderson was caught on the broadcast flipping off the fans.
The White Sox are currently 6-5 on the year and riding a 3-game losing streak.
