Wander Franco’s troubles are mounting, with fresh allegations now revealed following reports of the Tampa Bay Rays shortstop being under investigation for having a relationship with a minor.
Franco has been away from baseball amid the probe and, this week, a new report from ESPN surfaced claiming a special prosecutor in the Dominican Republic is investigating a second complaint pertaining to a minor.
It’s also been reported that there is a third girl in play, though she hasn’t spoken to the authorities as yet.

So Franco is likely to be facing three allegations soon. Innocent until proven guilty, however.
The 22-year-old has denied any wrongdoing, and it’s now up to prosecutors to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was indeed involved with minors.
Franco, who was batting .281 and 58 RBI with seven home runs, has been sent on administrative leave. The MLB will await the conclusion of the criminal investigations before proceeding with their own discipline if any.
