The Little League World Series is an excellent place for some of the sport’s youngest stars to make their names. The games are played by 11—and 12-year-old kids; some are crazy talented for their age.
Usually, the most one of these young pitchers can clock a thow at is around the 50-60 mile per range, and if they’re really good, they could see their number hit in the high 60s or even the low 70s!
However, one pitcher this year has stood out above the rest after throwing an insane fastball that reached the high 70s. 12-year-old Antonio Guerrero from Mexico is going viral for throwing a 77-mile-per-hour fastball at the tournament in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Fans are reacting to the young star in the making, as his 77-mile-per-hour fastball is deemed unfair compared to the other kids in the tournament. One fan pointed out that “his mechanics are perfect.”

Another fan even pointed out that this may be a stat for the history books as Antonio Guerrero possibly threw the “fastest a pitcher from Mexico has ever thrown,” for all we know, it might just be in terms of the LLWS.
One fan even joked about the MLB already having him in their sights as they commented that the Dodgers already have him on their scouting list. If we’re being real here, it wouldn’t be a bad idea!
After all is said and done, the kid is only 12 years old, and it’s very possible that he chooses a very different career path. If one thing is for sure, if he does decide to continue with America’s pastime, he may end up being one of the best.
