The New York Yankees and New York Mets just had a quick two-game Subway Series that ended terribly due to multiple members of their fan base.
At Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, the Mets were in the midst of destroying their crosstown rival when arguments among fans led to violence.
A video surfaced online showing a huge brawl in The Bronx that seemed to start with two women going at it while on the ground. Those two seemed to be fans of the Yankees.
Soon, you would see a guy in a Mets jersey throwing punches before a shirtless fellow comes out of nowhere to deliver a vicious right hand that knocks that Mets fan down to the ground.
Another Yankees fan pushes him back down as he tries to get up. The shirtless fan then comes over to flex for the crowd, seemingly proud of his behavior as he screams like a mad man.
The entire time this is going on, the two female Yankees fans are still on the ground going at it.
Then, the camera pans to that Mets fan arguing with another guy before they take each other down to the ground.

By this time, a security guard had arrived, and everyone had finally stopped fighting as Yankees fans cheered for the victory.
Yankees fans won that brawl, but their team lost both games of the Subway Series yet again.

Aaron Boone Was Upset After Yet Another Failed Series By The New York Yankees
Manager Aaron Boone was visibly upset about his team following their 12-3 loss to the New York Mets, which completed a Subway Series season sweep.
Boone unleashed a myriad of expletives and pounded his hand on the table to make his point about how his team was playing.
“Nobody has higher expectations than us in that frickin’ room,” Boone said, per WHNT.com. “We’re pissed off. We got to play better. This has gone on long enough. It’s very frustrating to go through.”
“But I also know we’re competing our asses off. We just got to make sure we continue to walk in with the right level of edge and willingness to compete because no one’s going to pull us out of this but us.”
The Yankees were 50-22 at one point and had the best record in the league, but they have since fallen off a cliff and have lost 22 of 32 games.
