Washington Nationals first baseman Joey Gallo is being caled out on social media for having zero game on or off the field.
On the Beyond The Spotlight Podcast, a young lady decided to expose the MLB star for sliding in her Instagram messages.
The conversation was innocent enough, but she felt compelled to reveal it anyway.
“Do you guys know Joey Gallo?” she asked.
“He hit you up in your DMs?”
“Yeah, he hit me up,” she replied while giggling.

“What was the pickup line?” one host asked the young lady.
She replied, “He literally slid in saying ‘Hey! and a blushing face emoji.”
The young woman continued to state Joey Gallo said, “So, I suck at checking this app, to be honest, but you should text me if you want.”
“Then he sent me his number.”
She then asked how old he was and was informed he was 30.
The young lady that Joey Gallo was trying to hit up appears to be Instagram model Trinity Covington.
She has almost 33,000 Instagram followers and over 459,000 on TikTok, so it is not hard to see why Gallo was trying to contact her.

Joey Gallo is a monster power hitter who goes through intense peaks and insane lows.
The former Twins left fielder, now with the Nationals, hit 21 homers for the Twins during the 2023 season but finished with only a .177 batting average. He also had 142 strikeouts.
He wasn’t any better in 2024, as he had a batting average of .161, which was his fifth consecutive season below the Mendoza Line.
Gallo struck out 102 times. The only reason it wasn’t higher is because he only played in 76 games.
