Juan Soto wasted no time letting the world know how he celebrated his record-setting MLB contract with the New York Mets.
On Sunday evening, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported that Juan Soto signed a 15-year contract with the Mets worth $765 million. Though five years longer in term, it breaks Shohei Ohtani’s previous record ($700 million) for the richest contract in MLB history.
Shortly after the news of Soto’s record-breaking deal broke, his younger brother Elian shared an Instagram video of the immediate celebration, consisting of drinks and a chill night in the hot tub:

It was recently reported that the Mets, New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and Toronto Blue Jays were the finalists for Soto. The Mets were long viewed as the front-runners for Soto, and owner Steve Cohen indeed ensured that nobody would outbid hi for the 26-year-old phenom.
