On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the New York Yankees to win the World Series for the second time in five years. Of course, this victory called for celebration from every Dodgers fan.
However, many took the celebrating too far, which became apparent when a video of this Dodgers fan hit the internet.
The man the video centers around is on the road at a crosswalk, bent over, lighting a firework. Unfortunately, he did not get far enough before it went off, and his hand was still on it when it blew up.
As the video continues, the scene only gets worse. He can be seen in immediate pain, and as he comes closer to the camera, the severe damage becomes visible.
Blood starts to stream down from his hand, smearing onto the glass he was leaning on and getting all over the concrete.
However, throughout the entire experience, the Dodgers fan does not say a word and looks to be trying to shake off the pain.

Ultimately, it takes at least 30 seconds before four to five other people in the video suggest calling an ambulance instead of filming.
Currently, there has been no update as to whether or not the man ever made it to the hospital or received the care needed for such a serious injury.
Social Media Was Outraged How Those Around The Dodgers Fan Handeled The Situation
As mentioned earlier, it took at least 30 seconds before any bystanders suggested an ambulance needed to be called.
Instead, most just stood by and recorded his disfigured hand. Of course, social media was furious with everyone involved.
“Bruh said call the ambulance like he dont have a phone in his hand…” said one comment about the other Dodgers fan.
“I wonder who got off their phone to call 911…” said another.
Everyone upset about the situation certainly makes a good point.
