This year’s Home Run Derby boasts plenty of worthy competitors, but before things kicked off, we may have received the worst National Anthem in recent memory.
The 2024 Home Run Derby is taking place Monday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, and like every other sporting event in the country, we had to hear the National Anthem.
Four-time Grammy nominee and country singer Ingrid Andress was brought out to do it, and she bombed it in spectacular fashion.
Ingrid Andress has seen better days, and tonight was not one of them.
Ingrid Andress’ rendition of the National Anthem ahead of Monday’s festivities at Globe Life Field left her open to some harsh criticism across social media:

For those who are unaware, Ingrid is a four-time Grammy-nominated singer best known for hits like “More Hearts Than Mine,” “The Stranger,” and “Wishful Drinking,” according to Wikipedia.
Back in 2021, she was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys.

Ingrid Andress had the honor of performing the National Anthem at the 2024 Home Run Derby, and the performance was compared to Fergie’s from years ago.
If you are not aware, that is not a good thing.
The 32-year-old country singer struggled terribly throughout the song and was unable to hit some of the high notes.
She received applause at Globe Life Field on Monday, but it was a different story online.
