Social media is cringing over an awkward post-game interview Los Angeles Dodgers star Kiké Hernández had with Ken Rosenthal on live television following Game 5 of the NLDS.
Teoscar Hernández and Kiké Hernández both hit solo shots in the decisive game against the rival San Diego Padres, which was all the NL West champions needed to punch their ticket to the NLCS.
Kiké spoke with Rosenthal moments after the Dodgers closed out Game 5 at home, and let’s just say we won’t forget about this interview any time soon.
Near the end of the interview, Kiké Hernández asked Rosenthal if they were live on television following a question about the 2024 Dodgers group. After being told that they were, Hernández said, “The fact that we don’t give a (expletive).”

Kiké Hernández played for the Dodgers from 2015 to 2020, leading them to three NL pennants (2017, 2018 and 2020) and a World Series championship in the 2020 season. After two and a half seasons with the Boston Red Sox, he returned to the Dodgers last year.
During the 2024 regular season, he hit .229 with 12 homers and 42 RBI to go along with an OPS of .654. And now, for the first time since he won it all with the Dodgers back in 2020, Hernández is back in the NLCS.
Kiké Hernández & Dodgers Will Face Mets In NLCS
Two historic franchises will square off for the NL pennant, with the Dodgers set to take on the underdog New York Mets. Game 1 will go in Los Angeles at 8:15 p.m. EST on Sunday evening.
The Mets last reached the World Series in 2015, having eliminated the Dodgers in the NLDS before losing to the Kansas City Royals in the Fall Classic. The Dodgers, no strangers to the NLCS, will try to get back to the big dance for the first time in four long years.
