Fans have a way of taking things way too far over a sport that essentially means absolutely nothing to the human race besides a form of entertainment.
Other folks can see that while a select group of fans take things to a dark area and want bad things to happen to players they don’t cheer for, or even worse, for players they actually like.
That was the case after a recent rough outing for Trevor Bauer when he took a look at his direct messages and noticed that some people were threatening to kill him, asking him to kill himself, or wishing death on his family. This was all because he had a bad start during a game where he gave up 10 hits and 8 runs to the Chicago White Sox.
