Now that the legal matters have been settled, plenty of new information has been made public about the assault case involving former MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer and his accuser, Lindsey Hill.
Most of the information has come from Bauer, who took to social media to give his side of the case. In his video, Bauer exposes text messages that Hill sent to her friends which appear to suggest that she planned to set up the former Dodgers pitcher from the get-go.

Here’s a transcript of the convo:
In the call, Lindsey can be heard asking questions like, “Did I ask you to hit me?” During the phone call, Hill claims she doesn’t remember asking Bauer to hit her. Meghann also points to an instance in which Bauer tells Hill, “if there’s anything I can do to help you, like, you mentioned, like, missing work, like. I just, I want — to want to make sure that you’re OK. Honestly, like, if I can help please, if there’s something I can do.”
Cuniff believes this signals Bauer’s willingness to pay Hill to keep silent. However, it should also be noted that Bauer never offered Hill any money to settle their case throughout the entire ordeal.
In the end, there is some shocking evidence from both sides, but no charges were ever laid and neither side was forced to pay a dime.
I’m sure this won’t be the end of the public accusations.
