The Yankees could be the next team in hot water for stealing signs.
Over the weekend, footage was posted on Twitter reportedly showing a member of the Yankees staff filming the opposing catcher’s signals and then relaying them to another member of the staff.
The caption says it happened during the 2018 playoffs.
It was back in June when a New York judge wanted a letter from MLB commissioner Rob Manfred to Yankees’ GM Brian Cashman unsealed for public consumption.

The letter reportedly contains information that shows the Yankees engaged in a “more serious, sign-stealing scheme” than the 2017 allegations brought forth by the Red Sox that included New York using cameras to steal signs.
The Yankees want the letter to remain sealed, stating that the letter could potentially damage the reputation of the franchise.
“Embarrassment on the part of MLB or the Yankees about the precise contents of the letter is not particularly weighty,” Rakoff said, per NJ.com.
