The wife of former MLB star Roy Halladay moved a lot of people to tears today after she gave a very emotional speech during his Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Sunday.
Brandy Halladay, the wife of the late pitcher, received a standing ovation from the crowd as she walked onto the podium as she thanked both of her husband’s organizations, the Blue Jays and the Phillies, during her speech.
The eight-time All-Star and two-time Cy Young winner tragically lost his life when his plane crashed into the Gulf of Mexico in November 2017.
Halladay amassed more than 200 wins and 2,000 strikeouts during his illustrious career.
