President Donald Trump reportedly placed a call to former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and his fiancee Jennifer Lopez for some advice this week.
It wasn’t baseball related, rather it was Trump calling them to get their thoughts on the administration’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. Katherine Faulders of ABC News described the call as part of “Trump’s continued outreach across the country about the virus.”
Trump has been widely criticized for his response to the coronavirus pandemic in recent weeks, so it appears he is widening his approach.
Faulders also noted Trump “spent much of his week speaking to business leaders and others about how the country is handling the pandemic.”
Soon after the report emerged, President Trump responded, saying “More fake news.”
