The New York Mets are currently 40-50 during the 2019 season and currently sit 4th in the NL East. It’s safe to say that this team is going nowhere fast this year.
Mets ace Noah Syndergaard is currently in the midst of an up and down season that has produced a career worst 4.68 ERA this season. That might make the Mets sellers by the July 31 trade deadline.
If the Mets give off the impression they would part ways with Noah, there are two teams who are already showing interest in obtaining him.
The Astros are already a dangerous team, but could use one more starting pitcher to bring it all together before the start of the postseason. The team is 57-33 and in first place in the AL West.
The Brewers sit in second place in the NL Central with a 47-44 record and Syndergaard could bring some much needed wins down the road to help the team get to the playoffs.
