On Monday, the Boston Red Sox picked a huge win against the Los Angeles, 5-4.
Boston’s Adam Ottavino earned the save, event hough he gave up one run on two hits and a walk. He felt really good about his save after he got Shohei Ohtani into a game-ending ground out.
To celebrate, he could be seen waving at Ohtani and screaming “happy birthday bitch” at him.
July 5th was Shohei Ohtani’s 27th birthday. He had just made MLB history by earning his first All-Star nod as a position player and a pitcher. No player in league history was simultaneously an All-Star in both categories.
