This week in the MLB featured star-studded matchups, horrible defeats, and team division matchups. So, after another exciting week, here are the Power Rankings after week 10 in the MLB.
Which teams continued to climb up in this week’s MLB rankings?
30. Chicago White Sox (Last Week's Rank: 30)
Outside of a long win streak, there is no chance the White Sox will move out of the 30th spot. This team is terrible and will get worse in the upcoming weeks around the trade deadline, as they will move a lot of their talent.
29. Miami Marlins (Last Week's Rank: 28)
It’s expected that the White Sox will be bad, but the Marlins are a talented roster that is struggling in unison. This team features multiple former All-Stars who have immensely underperformed.
28. Colorado Rockies (Last Week's Rank: 29)
The Colorado Rockies continue to tango with the Marlins, who will have the second-worst record this year. Even with the 11th-best batting average, the Rockies still can’t find a way to win games, even at home, with their tremendous advantage.

27. Oakland Athletics (Last Week's Rank: 25)
The Athletics have the worst offense in baseball, and it’s not even close. They rank second to last or worse in all three top offensive categories. There’s little to no hope for this team right now.
26. Los Angeles Angels (Last Week's Rank: 27)
This was the best week for the Angels in a very long time. They finally put together multiple wins and should get back Mike Trout in the upcoming days. So, the sun is shining slightly brighter in Los Angeles this week.
25. New York Mets (Last Week's Rank: 26)
The Mets had a positive week after sweeping the Washington Nationals. But when things look bright in New York, it normally means the rain is coming.

24. Washington Nationals (Last Week's Rank: 17)
It’s hard to ignore the nation’s recent struggles. This team plays to the level of its competition and sweeps the Braves but will also get swept by the Mets. Consistency has been hard to find for the Nationals.
23. Arizona Diamondbacks (Last Week's Rank: 21)
The Arizona Diamondbacks are feeling the strength of their division. This week, they lost a tough series against the Padres after beating the Giants. This team is in an excellent position to return to the playoff race.
22. Pittsburgh Pirates (Last Week's Rank: 23)
The Pirates went 4-6 this week thanks to their pitching staff putting up three shutouts. Shutting teams out is one way to turn your season around when your offense is struggling.
21. Houston Astros (Last Week's Rank: 22)
The Astros had a good week, going 4-2 and picking up two series wins. However, they still sit six games below .500 and will need to continue this momentum to get back in the playoff race.
20. Tampa Bay Rays (Last Week's Rank: 18)
The Tampa Bay Rays are another MLB team that felt the power of their division this week as they faced the Orioles for the second series in two weeks. They are struggling to win in their division, which has led to their struggle to remain over .500 this year.
19. Texas Rangers (Last Week's Rank: 12)
Don’t throw in the towel yet on the Rangers, but they aren’t the same team as last season. Can they make a last-season push? Of course, but they’re currently not playing like a playoff-caliber team.
18. Chicago Cubs (Last Week's Rank: 15)
I can only label the Chicago Cubs one way so far: Frauds. May was a horrible month for this MLB team.
17. San Francisco Giants (Last Week's Rank: 19)
If the season ended today, the Giants would be in the Playoffs. This team is scrappy and finds ways to win, but just like the Rays, their division will bury them if they let it.
16. Cincinnati Reds (Last Week's Rank: 24)
The Cincinnati Reds are currently on a seven-game win streak and fighting their way back to .500 on the season. Their offense is finally playing up to its potential, and the results are showing.
15. St. Louis Cardinals (Last Week's Rank: 14)
The veterans in St. Louis continue to get the job done. This week, they went 3-3, but they have kept losses from adding up and continue to move up the rankings.
14. Detroit Tigers (Last Week's Rank: 16)
The Tigers sit just one game below .500 but ten games back in the AL Central. It will be a tough season to contend in their division with so much competition, but a few trades can change their season.
13. Toronto Blue Jays (Last Week's Rank: 20)
The Blue Jays are still fighting to win this season and are holding on to their stars through the trade deadline. Like many other MLB teams, it’s tough to compete in their division with the Orioles and Yankees, but they are in the middle of the wild card race.
12. Boston Red Sox (Last Week's Rank: 13)
The Boston Red Sox started the season strong but have not seemed like themselves lately. This team is highly reliant on their pitching staff and needs help to win with their offense.
11. Minnesota Twins (Last Week's Rank: 11)
The Twins went 1-5 this week and currently sit third in their division. Minnesota is having a good year but has yet to play well in the last few weeks.
10. Atlanta Braves (Last Week's Rank: 8)
The Atlanta Braves have struggled without former MVP Ronald Acuna. They lost three games to the Nationals this week and aren’t the same without their biggest star.
9. Seattle Mariners (Last Week's Rank: 10)
Seattle split the week, going 3-3, but they have an obvious weakness that needs to be addressed. Their lineup doesn’t have enough. They get production from the top and continue to struggle at the bottom.
8. Milwaukee Brewers (Last Week's Rank: 6)
The Milwaukee Brewers continue to pick up wins, but they’re blessed to play in such a weak division. They’re the only team above .500 in the NL Central and continue to lose series to top teams.
7. San Diego Padres (Last Week's Rank: 9)
The Padres had a tough week and are back below .500, but there’s no doubt about their potential. This team has talented hitters from top to bottom and can compete with anyone.
6. Kansas City Royals (Last Week's Rank: 7)
The Royals have been extremely impressive this season. Kansas City has multiple All-Stars in Salvador Perez and Bobby Whitt Jr., and they are at the top of the Wild Card race behind Baltimore.
5. Cleveland Guardians (Last Week's Rank: 5)
The Cleveland Guardians currently rank 6th in runs per game, which has given them the 3rd best record in the MLB. If they keep playing like this, they will prove how good they are in the playoffs.
4. New York Yankees (Last Week's Rank: 2)
The Yankees are a great MLB team, but they are one injury away from struggling. This team is very top-heavy, and they feel unbeatable at times, but this week without Soto, it felt like the same old New York.
3. Baltimore Orioles (Last Week's Rank: 3)
The Baltimore Orioles handle business when they need to. This week, they went 5-2 against divisional opponents Tampa Bay and Toronto.
2. Los Angeles Dodgers (Last Week's Rank: 3)
The Dodgers picked up a huge series win against the Yankees this week. They play their best against the best, and that’s why they’re second in this week’s rankings.
1. Philadelphia Phillies (Last Week's Rank: 1)
The Phillies continue to show they’re the best team in the league. They are getting tremendous performances from their offense and defense, which leads to win after win.
