By now, you’ve heard about David Ortiz being shot in the Dominican Republic by an apparent robber, that later turned out to be a guy who seemingly wanted to just kill Ortiz.
The 43-year-old former Boston Red Sox star was reportedly hit in the back with the bullet coming out of his stomach.
After the shooting, there was a video of a guy who was said to be the shooting suspect who came across the locals who decided to dish out some street justice in the form of kicks to the head.
Police would eventually detain him and a photo of the damage would soon surface that showed the people who loved Ortiz did a number on him.

Ortiz was born in Santo Domingo and played 20 seasons in the major leagues. He was a 10-time All-Star and won World Series rings in 2004, 2007 and 2013. He retired after the 2016 season.
